FCA management is perfectly aware of the fact that the current generation of this muscle car is way too old to remain competitive in the following years. Therefore, we count on a soon redesign. That will most likely be sometime in about year or two. Therefore, we expect to see a bunch of novelties from the 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat as well.
After the recently announced updates for the 2020-year model, the current generation of this SUV is expected to carry on for a couple of more years. Despite being around for a full decade, the current generation still has a lot to offer. This is still one of the most capable SUVs around, and off-road performances are definitely its strongest point. The upcoming update will make it more up-to-date in terms of technologies, so we expect that the 2021 Toyota 4Runner will be pretty much a carryover.
The Explorer is one of the most anticipated models for the next year, as it is about to come completely new. The last we saw a redesign of this model was in 2011. For that occasion, we saw a lot of significant changes, such as the switch to a modern unibody platform. The upcoming redesign will bring radical changes as well. We are about to see a new layout, as well as significant growth in size. Of course, we count on other novelties as well, on those modes typical for redesigns. This includes new styling, powertrain, etc. The 2021 Ford Explorer will come only a year after this redesign. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t see some interesting novelties.
The current-generation Regal has been around for a couple of years and it looks like we are about to see some updates in the near future. It may be a mid-cycle refresh, but the thing that sounds more interesting is a possible resurrection of the famous performances version, which would this time come as the 2021 Buick Grand National. This would mean a lot of upgrades compared to the current model, including the current sporty GS version.
After years of hiatus, the Passport came back this year as an all-new model and it already received amazing critics. It highly versatile crossover which, although primarily focused on road comfort, also deliver quite decent off-road performance. Also, it features a hi-quality cabin, with plenty of space and great materials quality. All in all, we would normally expect no bigger changes for the 2021 Honda Passport.
