The next-generation heavy-duty Sierra models are about to hit the market this year. We are about to see various kinds of novelties, just like in the corporate sibling, Chevy Silverado. The first model that is about to come is, of course, the 2500 model. It should hit the market in the third quarter of the year, with improvements in many aspects, compared to the current generation. The 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 Heavy Duty will represent the second production year. Normally, we would expect no bigger changes. However, a couple of reliable sources suggest revisions already for the next year.
The Acadia represents GMC in the segment of mid-size crossover and the current generation has been around since 2017. Therefore, it isn’t surprising that the upcoming 2020-year model is coming with numerous updates. It is a typical mid-cycle refresh, which besides aesthetics updates also comes with novelties under the hood, new trim levels, etc. Considering such intense changes, we have no doubt that the 2021 GMC Acadia will be pretty much a carryover.
The 2021 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali will continue to be flagship model of the company’s famous trucks but some reports are suggesting updates in the near future. The current generation has been introduced in 2018, but it looks like we are about to see changes already two years later. Allegedly, the company is about to work on aesthetics in the next year. These changes should affect the Denali trim as well.
